Morning knotties. Back in February I sent the Obamas a wedding invitation. A few websites said the president sends a handwritten reply. I'd lost all hope of receiving one. I mean they ARE the President and First Lady! Low and behold, I check my box this morning and here's what was in there - not the CHECK i was waiting on but I can work with this! @ LadySun - P hasn't seen it yet. I just got it out the mail this morning. He'll think it's uber cool cuz he loves all things Obama! This will definitely get placed in my shadowbox wedding memory frame.

That's great. I sent mine off in August hoping to get it back in time for the wedding so I could display it at the wedding, but I guess not.

Mahoganieye- My sister asked the same thing. What if they show up and take center stage for your wedding. lol! Cat- That's fab. Congrats! I would blow that think up and put the posters everywhere. lol

I'd have been quite chipper had they showed up...gift or no gift - RSVP or no RSVP! I mean to have a President and First Lady come to your wedding???? Man...and you know Obama woulda been all swagged out. He probably even would've given me a spin on the floor! And P would've been all over Michelle. He think I don't know he be lusting after her...kinda like I be lusting after Obama! LOL!

Too cool! I sent one to them with the rest of the invites, so we're probably not going to get anything until way after! ah well, this gives me hope!And we are from the Obama's home town, so they could just happen to be around for our wedding....just sayin'
