Pissed..UGH!!

So I decided to go with the Country Club for my venue. I had given the catering manager my date of 4/25/10. She stated that she would pencil me in for this date and if anyone else asked for it she would contact me so I could send my deposit!!Well!!! This hussie called me today to confirm the date and she stated that she was sure I had chosen 4/11/09! Ughhh! No my coordinator has another weddding on that date so I wouldn't have chosen that date! So needless to say she has a wedding booked for 4/25/10! Ugh!!! I'm so freakin heated right now! Now I have to choose betweem 5/2/10,5/23/10, or 4/4/10....My coordinator hasn't called me back yet so I'm extra pissed! Not to mention I'm dieting,hungry and in need of a Angus Burger!!!! LOL...What should I do?

    If you really want the CC, going with another date is about the only thing you can do. What I believed happened is someone met with her, asked for that date with money in hand, and she erased you, then inked in the others. Girl, you know money talks. As for the other stuff, grab some fresh fruit and lettuce, toss it together, add a light fruit vinigarette dressing and chow down!

    I'd be fuming (the same thing happened with the first photographer i chose and i wasn't as gracious as you are. I put her on my black list and found another one. thanks God!) I was going to ask what's more important: keeping the date or the venue. But it seems like you already made that decision... So wait to hear from the coordinator and go from there. But what about your other vendors? have you booked anything else? will you loose you deposits? etc I know you really liked the women's club so i am sorry the lady did that to you...

    Darn wedding planning :)  Girl you know you cant trust no pencil in!!!! You should have sent your deposit.   But I would be pissed to! Do you want to look at another venue?  Your wedding planner must be hanging out with mine!

    awww mama, we would have gotten married on the same day. I hate when folks don't get things right. It could have been a simple mistake and I definitely understand your frustration. Just get with your planner and pick a day that you feel comfortable going with. 5/2/10 is a good day. that time in May is not too hot, it would still be nice and it is a week after your day you originally picked. Hope everything works out for you.
