Question of the morning: Favors

I've been stalking BIOs for favor ideas. I'm thinking edible, but I'm not sure. What's your favor??? If you're already married, how did people respond to your favor? TIA

We didn't do favors.  We took a poll, people didn't want 'em so that saved us money.  On the flip side though, people did try to take my centerpieces and runners while some succeeded in taking about half of my pictures that I had placed on the tables! LoL

We are doing an old school light blue and yellow candy buffet, cigar bar, photo booth, and CD's. Our list is out of control

You ladies have the coolest favor ideas!  I love them all! The popcorn buffet idea is neat.  I've never heard of that one before.  We are doing heart shaped wine toppers.  A friend of mine is giving them to me because she had some left over from her wedding. We were going to have our wedding at a vineyard, so that would have been perfect, but now we're not, but I'm keeping the favors because we are on a budget, and that would be one less thing to worry about.

I'm doubling the escort cards as favors.  I'm actually using small chocolate colored boxes that'll have hershey kisses in them.  Since my colors are essentially copper and chocolate and it's right around halloween I found hershey kisses that same color.

Thanks. I love the popcorn bar, the idea of multiple favors, and combining the favor with the escort cards. I'm leaning towards cinnamon almonds. I just have to figure out how to package it.

We did a CD with about 13 songs that were special and played at our wedding. On the CD it had the words "Cherish the Day", our wedding date and our names. Our guests seemed to liked it and I was glad I did not do a candy buffet or anything edible b/c almost all of my cake was eaten.

Thinking of doing candles in frosted glasses or boxes with our names and wedding date on the ribbon.  Our theme is love and romance so we figured that this would be aligned with that (and also, hopefully something that people will actually take with them and keep somewhere).  Our concern is that favors go to waste sometimes.

Food is always a great favor! My theme is Fairytale, so i've optted to go with the mini horse and carriages that open up at the top. I'm going to add candy in it, white M&M's. The little carriage can be saved for a lovely keepsake.

It changes like every two weeks but we're definitely doing a photo booth and giving some sort of candy/dessert in a box.

This is a good question. MIABRIDENTAMPA - your list is off the da hook. I thought mine was long. #1 We did a double disc cd full of our favorite love songs. Many were used in the ceremony. We bought the clear double disc cd covers and placed inserts on the front and back that were created using Itunes. The front cover had our monogram surround by tiles of the album covers from the 1 cd. The back cover had the tiles from the 2 cd. The inside covers listed the songs for each cd. The actual cds had photos of us from our engagement session. The cd basket was placed in a weird spot so some people left them but the day after they were all asking for one. We are all out now. Bammas were saying that we could sell them thangs.#2 We did asian love coasters from www.beforetheidos. These bad boys come package and everything. We bought the little monogram thank you tags. Best thing. We placed these on each place setting. We didn't have any of these left. Not a 1. see pic. I know. I need to do a married bio.

We're having a photobooth...so it will double as another form of entertainment and favors (photostrips)!

I was planning to do cranberry conserve in small preserve jars with a tag attached saying spread the love. The conserve was my GiGi's grandmom's recipe.
