Centerpiece Ideas?

Ladies, I am getting married at a local hotel on a thursday evening, small crowd of 60-70 folx....The hotel provides white linen..I'm trying to incorporate some color..My colors are platinum silver, burgundy (wine color), with some soft pink & orange accents....I am so not a flower type chick, and don't want to spend lots on flowers that I'm not even into...what other ideas can I use to bring color to the room... My theme is black love...candles everywhere, all sizes... Even doing a powerpoint to show 10 black power couples, of course my fiancee' and I will be ranked # 1....Is the powerpoint idea corny??sorry so long,Debbie

Not corny at all. I think it's rather original.  As for the color, you could sprinkle a bed of flower petals in your colors on the tables around your candles. Or have lanterns along with the candles.  Many lanterns have different color glass panes in them and i'm sure you could find red and orange. Another idea is fruit, apples, oranges in a large vase would compliment your decor too.

Thanks ladies.. I love the lantern idea.. I'm gonna check into that.. I will only have like 10 tables, so it shouldn't be too expensive.. As for the powrpoint, I'm gonna attach a song to it, have the DJ talking, and then really hype it up as they announce us, so it should be fun, and something not seen often... Deb

Not corny. You could color some water and float candle in them as centerpieces, add some colored stones to the bottom of a bowl, put led lights in centerpieces, use fruit if you don't like flowers.
