I think someone may have posted something similar before, but I must say, I am SO happy, SUPER excited to know you ladies.  You all have been so insightful from planning ideas to "food for thought" to a listening ear for our "Bridezella" moments and so on.  I don't post a lot, maybe log-in a couple times a week, but I ALWAYS come check out the happenings on the AAW Board!!! Thank you all sooooo much for everything!  Best Wishes and Congrats to all you beautiful Brides and Brides-To-Be! Smooches! Muah!

    I too thank you ladies for giving me advice, listening to me and sharing your happiness and vents. My local board is truly sad and this is really the only board that I post on regularly.

    I'm very thankful for you ladies. It is helpful to get insight from someone other than family. I consider you to be my "friends" without voices (since I've never heard you speak). Lol. But I think that you have already gotten me through some rough patches so thank you again

    With me being new and just posting as of last week- I can stop talking about the ladies on this board. I have finally found a group of intelligent women that has class and full of understanding. Yall keep me laughing I must say- my FI thinks Im crazy..lol

    Ladylum--I agree w/you. My local board is SO dead and boring!! But I also agree w/everybody else--I love you ladies! Thanks for wonderful advice, encouraging words, and heartfelt prayers! One day I'm gonna stop posting since I technically shouldn't be on here anymore. I just can't help it though!!

    I'm probably too late to respond to this, but I was talking to mycicybride yesterday, and I think she summed it up perfectly.  This board is proof that we, as African American women have beat the odds.  They said that AA women couldn't get married, that intelligent, professional black women can't find men, they said that we can't get along with each other and we prove them wrong all of the time.  Everytime a new knottie joins the board it makes me proud!
