Makeup artist suggestions

Hi all! Looking again for suggestions for a makeup artist for my wedding. We're all set for our photographer...thanks to a fellow Knottie recommendation. We're going with Maija Karin Photography in Wenatchee. She is awesome, her pics are phenomenal and totally reasonable in terms of package price.  We're pretty psyched! www.maijakarinphotography.comBut I digress...any help on good makeup people is much appreciated. I am pretty much a MAC girl through and through, but really dig Bare Escentuals and have a makeup collection that pretty much rivals a makeup counter! :)  I'm willing to pay someone the mileage to come from Seattle (wedding is at a B&B on the Wenatchee River, right on highway 2/97. I just want someone that knows what they are doing, and won't leave me in the lurch on my big day! thanks!!! kirsten :)

    I am completely partial to Blush, www.iloveblush.com I have seen about 10 brides they have done and each one was amazing, definitely worth the money. Shannon Mercil is the best in my opinion, but they are all great.

    I used Shannon from Blush Inc. for my wedding on 9/6 and she was absolutely AMAZING! She is honestly the sweetest person too. I don't have pro pics yet but here are a couple of pics my bridesmaids took of me: http://tinypic.com/r/2442wxy/3http://tinypic.com/r/4jkg08/3I did the bridal makeup, airbrush foundation and eyelashes extensions and it was $115.     Hello kristen.  I am glad you Maija Karin.  She has beautiful pics.  We ended up with a different photog but almost hired her.  I am having this same issue with make-up/hair person.  I'm getting marred in Leavenworth (actually in Plain).  I've looked at Erin Skipley who seems to be amazing (bellatrix studio) but was booked for my day.  I would see if she is available.  Also, I believe Salon Maison seems reputable and I think their travel rate is less than others.  The going rate seems to be $50/hour RT for travel.  Salon Maison quoted me $200 total.

    Just out of curiousity, why did you go with a different photographer? My parents, who live in Wenatchee, met with her on our behalf (we're down in Phoenix) and loved her.  Do you live in Eastern WA or just getting married there? Where are you having your wedding? We're doing our rehearsal dinner in Leavenworth...I love it there!

    I'm using a gal named Sequioa at My Flawless Tan, she's amazing and she uses MAC makeup which I'm so thrilled because I'm a total MAC girl too! Check out her website at www.myflawlesstan.com I think her prices are posted online, if not just give her a call!

    Yeah she does spray tanning for the SeaGals. She has known the group for some time. :) You will love her, she's such a doll! Oh and she's married, so she knows how "perfect" you will want to look on your wedding day!
