Veil, Headpiece options for short, natural (TWA)?

Are any of you planning to wear a short, natural hairstyles for your wedding day? Most of the styles that I find in pictures involve Knots, twists, braids or locs...but what I really am trying to find are some veil/headpiece options that will work with a short, natural style that is not twisted or anything. Would love any ideas or feedback that I could get...thanks!!

My hair will be in a short style. I really like the idea of doing a nice comb instead of tiara. The comb will be detachable from the veil and I'll wear it in my hair the rest of the night. The veil will be a basic elbow length 2 layered veil. Here's te comb http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=20107653

Thank you! How short do you plan to wear your hair? Will the comb stay in? I really like this idea, just trying to figure out if a comb will stay in my hair...I can always let it grow a little before the wedding, but I like it best not longer than 1-1 and a half inches on top....thanks!

My hair is short, I also was only doing illusion on a comb. I personally think only royalty should wear tiaras, but to eachher own. Combs allow you to do much more with your own hair because you don't have to style it around a big tiara sitting at the top of your head. You could also do fresh flowers, a brooch, or pins with rhinestones on them. Don't limit yourself to tiaras only. Cage veils look good with short hair but not good with all gowns, check with your salon consultant for those (and you have to have the right shape and size head for those veils).

My hair is short as well but not natural. I am wearing a birdcage veil with a flower in my hair. I like the comb idea as well (am thinking about one if i get a second dress). I am with Lovie though I personally am not a found of tiara's but some love them ,just depends on the look u r going for!

My hair is short I generally rock a short fro which I may let grow out into a bigger fro (not crazy 70s big just fuller). I think the comb will have no problem staying in.

Thank you ladies so much! I think I agree with the majority here, too...I'm not a huge fan of tiara's, and I was hoping for something elegant, but not "over the top"...I do think I will look into a birdcage veil that can be attached with a comb, and yes, I may have to consider letting my hair grow out just a half inch or more prior to the wedding to allow for some extra hair to hold it with...you ladies rock! I really appreciate your feedback!
