I really don't want anyone to pay for anything at our wedding, but here's the dilemma. My nephew has giving us a great deal on our picture package 10 hrs for $500 which incudes 200 printed pics, photoablum with 100 pics (not dups of 200printed), a family pic to everyone, CD and any editting we want. Now I want a photobooth but to run the booth it will cost us another $400 + depending on how many pics he has to take & print and that can run upward to $1500. He said that when ppl hear free they go overboard and end up with 10-20 pics that we would have to pay for.
DH and nephew say if people want more than one pic (besides the entrance family photo which everyone will get) charge them, which I'm totally against. My nephew seeing me in distress about ppl paying for pics then gives us another great deal, $1 for 4x6 pics ( these pics are usually $5 ea everywhere else,I did some research), except for Parents & WP. He'll even take a few pics & let them pick the one they want. Then I was thinkikng we could do tickets to help limit the # of pics we have to pay for..I get then it ain't free from DH. So I stuck, mad and confused all at the same time. HELLLLPPPPPP PLEASEEEEEEE!!!
My questions to you is; Would this be tacky? How would you feel if you had to pay $1 for a pic at a wedding? Do you have any ideas on how to run this photobooth?
PS What nephew is charging is still way cheaper than renting a photo booth & the pics are bigger too.
