Must get FI to FOCUS!!!

So yesterday while we were waiting for a movie to start, we decided to go to the jeweler to check out wedding bands.  After about 2 minutes in to it, he's done a 180 and has the saleslady showing him watches.  He was completely unfocused.  Every time I asked something about what style of band he'd like, he'd tell me what ring looks better with the watch.  Then he tells me he'd rather have a wedding watch rather then a wedding band.  What the heck is a wedding watch????  Thankfully he was joking but I'm already knowin when we do get around to purchasing our bands, he's gonna try to slide a watch right on in there too.

Just pick a ring! lol. AND buy him a watch for his wedding day gift. Most men really don't care too much about what kind of band they have. And your FI will just be happy to have his "wedding watch"! LOL! The things men come up with! hahahaha

I was thinking the same thing Tyboyd said.  Get him the watch as a wedding day present so don't let him get it when you get the bands so you can surprise him with it on the wedding day.  Good luck with the ban dthing.  I kept asking FI too and just picked one on my own.

That's exactly what I and the sales lady suggested, to do the watch for a bday or anniversary present.  I wanted him to have a ring with a little bling it but he wanted this plain jane one which I guess is fine since he's the one that has to wear it.  But even though most of our time there was spent looking at a watch, I am glad that I got some sort of idea what he likes in a band so I can just go back and get in on my own.  Its so much easier shopping without him.

That is exactly what I did.  We got the band and I gave him the watch on our wedding day.

BTW where are you getting married at in Vegas?

I'm Mandalay Bay (Valley of the Falls).  I just booked last week.

Yeah for Vegas Brides!!!

Caesars is definitely my favorite hotel in Vegas but once I saw Valley of the Falls, I knew that was it.

LOL at wedding watch I agree with PP get it for him as a wedding day gift but he has to get a ring. Really guys come up with the darndest things!

I almost feel out at the wedding watch!! I love it. So Fi's watch is broken right now and needs a new battery. He says maybe instead of getting it fixed I will just buy a new watch.. I was like what? How do you go from a simple battery repair to an entire new watch. I am planning to buy one of those free bans for both of us and keep it moving. I told him for the 5 year I want a nice (read: More expensive) new wedding set!  I was thinking of getting him a watch and cologne for his wedding day gift. But who knows he might beat me to it!

LOL @ "wedding watch" that is too funny.  But yeah like PP stated get him the watch as a gift and make sure you buy the ring that matches the watch LOL.  FI was all in for ring shopping, he would go by himself and pick ones out but of course they didn't match my E-ring.  We actually bought them before we even booked our venue.
