ainge it's actually a vegetable called fiddlehead fern.  high as Jesus' feet (tm miyah) - like 20 bux a pound and available for only 2-3 weeks in the spring.  if you had roses flown in from bulgaria, it'd still cost less than this beast here lol.  betcha we can think of a more cost effective substiute.  the picture on the left look like real (dried) fiddleheads on the right they look like copycats made out of paper.
