Mine do mainly because I wanted everyone to ask them in before the day comes lol.

I think invites set the tone, so having the colors is nice. But I dont think it really matters at the end of the day. Not too many people save them afterwards.

Mine match my color scheme. I didnt think of no other way to have them. If you not a matchy type of person I say go for what you want I guess as long as it all ties in together.

My invitations match my color scheme but my save the dates dont. They are white.

I use my accent color which was silver and I stayed with my 2 Hearts Theme.  I agree that the choice will be completly up to you. If you see something you like and want to go with it, its your wedding.

They dont have to match your colors but I think there is something cohesive about everything looking the same and coordinated from beginning to end
