Since my parents were there, I called my cousin (my MOH) first.  She screamed because we had been dating for 7 years and we survived a distance relationship.

My cousin (who is 1 of my coordinators)and for the rest of my famly who is in the wedding I gave each one of them a letter telling them why they are very special to me and would they be a part of my special day...and the tears started flowing.

My parents... they were happy and basically were like "we know!!!!!" FI asked their permission a few days before. After that was my BFF and MOH and she screamed so loud! She was in a hotel in NYC for another wedding and she had the people at the front desk running down to her room to check on her! LOL...

My parents. He proposed on new years eve in a club around 1:15am  so i called my parents and my dad answered the phone worried lol and all i remember was saying "daddy i'm engaged, he proposed" and he said "I know he came and spoke to me earlier" then he put my mom on the line it was a moment!

I waited all day to tell my mom since FI proposed in the morning.  Her response was "let me see the ring, he didn't have it on him when he asked for my blessing!"

I then sent a mass text to my friends.  I caught major hell for that LOL

We were at a Babyface concert, so I couldnt really call right away lol. I sent a mass text to my parents and siblings (who already knew), then my 2 bffs. I called my sister, then mom immediately the concert was over. Best night of my life

I called my mom. She said 'Congrats' she knew it was coming. He asked her permission just days before, she was just waiting for him to pop the question.

I believe I texted my sister(really my cousin but we're very close) first. I dont really remember the calls or txts afterwards. News spread like wildfires afterwards lol

Well, we kinda talked about getting married... and decided we would.  There was no reall popping of the question.  But when I got my ring..which was a surprise, I posted it on facebook... 

The post read "it official"  lol.. everyone already knew we were getting married.  They were just waiting on the ring.

My MOH but i don't even remember her reation. I then showed my mom my hand, she said "Did u get ur nails done?" Then she screamed when she finally saw the ring.

Since his whole family was there for Christmas Eve and he surprised me by having my mom and my sister there I called my Matron of Honor or should I say I texted her a pick of my hand and before I could send her a text with words she was calling me. It was Christmas eve and Christmas morning by the time I got home around 2 so I didn't want to call but she was not having that we talked for about 20 minutes she was screaming and ready to plan. I love her!

I sent a massive text message after that to all my friends and I got responses all night long. One of the best nights ever I am so glad my mom and sister were there it was really awesome.

My grandma!!! I was screaming and jumping up and down and she said "Lord, chi are you ok?" I couldn't even get it out then I told her "I'm getting married" and she started screaming right along with me lol
