Another Wedding Cardbox question for ya....

For the ladies making their own cardbox, how much did it cost to make it?  And for the ladies who decided to purchase their cardbox, how much did you spend on it?  I looked on etsy, and I don't really like their prices, $109 or so.  To me that's a lot b/c I'm on a budget.

I DIY mine. The boxes were 1-4 bucks a piece (I have a 3 tier box). The paint was 3 bucks each from Lowe's , I have 3 colors. And the ribbon was 1-3 bucks a piece. HTH! BUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTT, I am gonna redo it this week lol!

Mine cost about 20 dollars to make...but I didn't have a lot of supplies like a glue gun..or fabric glue or the cutter x facto thing so I factored all that in there...the boxes themselves cost me 7 dollars....paint 2 dollars ribbon and pearls 3 dollars so it wasn't a lot to make..it took me about 2 days to finish....the cheapest I found on etsy was 40 dollars.....def not worth it to me

Thanks for sharing that info ladies.  The prices I found on etsy are definitely INSANE compared to the DIY prices you quoted me.  I guess I'll DIY my wedding cardbox

That one does look great. I did purchase mine for more than I initially wanted to spend but I couldn't resist it..  Mine is black and white with a red ribbon
