Did you have/are having or have been to a...

Bridal Luncheon??? I am thinking about having the 1st one for my girls in Nov. I wasn't trying to have one at first because me and two of my girls don't live in Alabama. But the rest of my party does. What kind of places can you have the luncheon and what do you do at them? I think that we will go and let the girls look at their dresses before the luncheon. Do I suppose to pay for everything?

hmmm, trying to remember. I was the MOH for a friend of mine (but that was like, heck almost 3 years ago now). We did go and look at, try on and choose dresses and then did lunch at like a Chili's or something.

I'll text her and see if she paid for it, but I think that would be up to you. It would be a nice gesture, though. Or maybe you could order several appetizers or certain things with anything else on them? just an idea

I went to one for a friends wedding and helped her plan it.  We went and tried on our dresses then went to Tony Roma's near the beach. Honestly it was just an extra expense for me and the other BMs who lived out of the city. We paid for our dresses, paid to get there, she gave us little gifts, but we also paid for our own meals. While it was nice to meet everyone it was completely unecessary. We were all friends with her but not all friend with each other so it wasn't like a bunch of friends hanging out, we talked and it was cool but really a waste of time.
If you can afford to pay for it , it would be a nice gesture. I would suggest doing it at home and making it like a girls day in so you can cut costs by cooking, hosting games, etc.

I had a Bridal Brunch for my wedding party last year and it turned out real nice.  They want me to have another one, but I think that just think they want me to make those red velvet cupcakes again, LOL.  I actually had mine at my mothers house and cooked, much cheaper.

I am having one on October 10th...I plan to pay for it. We will have it at a restaurant in Atlanta...either Legal Seafood, Pecan, or someplace in Atlantic Station (undecided, maybe Cheesecake Bistro?). I plan to discuss the details of their attire, take appointments for the Glam Squad (hair, makeup), play some games, set our calendars (meetings, rehearsal, showers, bachelorette, etc). I want to get gifts, but I can't decide what to get. I was thinking a gift card to someplace or a wine glass and charm...but idk about that part either. Lastly, we will have cake or cupcakes.

I'm glad you posted this...I need to take care of these details like this week. Time is flying for everything! Ugh...let me know if you wanna brainstorm together. We can probably come up with something cool to do.

    Thanks ladies!!!

@ eagles! I am so loving the idea! Maybe I should give little calendars/planners so everyone can put the dates in it! I would like to have it a Japanese Restaurant (maybe because I love it and think that everyone should experience it). I am getting excited!

I am also having one on the 23rd for my bridesmaids and moh. It will be at my mothers house as well. I plan on having hors d'ouvres and wine, give away a small trinket and plan to discuss everything popping for the wedding. It's cheaper girl. Go to Costco's and load up on appetizers. Holla back!!

I changed my mind about doing brunch so now we are going to California Pizza Kitchen for lunch and drinks still on the same date, but with a less formal feel. I'm hoping to order some Cami Cakes and figure out what gifts I want to give them. I'm thinking of either doing some boutique shopping after lunch or at least roaming around Atlantic Station in hopes of finding their shoes. Any excuse to shop...
