What are you doing with your dress?

Right  now, mine is just taking up space. I still need to have it cleaned. What do you ladies plan to do with your dress once the wedding is over? I loved it, but am not so sentimentally attached that I have special plans for it. I may keep a piece to pass down in case I have a daughter and she wants to wrap her bouquet or something, but I don't even know about that for sure.

I plan to sell my dress on preownedweddingdresses.com.  I can be sentimental, but I figure its just going to take up space, space that I don't have.

I like my dress a lot and I think it REAL reflects me... but I dont think I want to keep it. I dont have a daughter and if I do I am SURE she wont want mine.. although I would love for  my dress to still be the bomb and she would want it...LOL

Now that I know there is an actual site that sells used dresses.. I am in...

I love my dress, but once I found preownedweddingdresses.com, I knew that I would be listing my dress after the wedding.  If I get half back I would be happy.

I still haven't decided yet. I have thought about selling it and  then I have also thought of having it turned into a baptism gown for when we have kids or into a pillow with out wedding date embroidered on it and then add kids birthdates as we have them or something that can be passed down to our kids.

I will cut my dress to make a cocktail dress then use the rest for baby blankets or christening outfits.

Great ideas! I don't know if my dress would work as a cocktail dress, but I'm thinking I'll sell it or donate it now. Thanks for the input, ladies!

These are all great ideas!! I'm still attached to my dress so may keep it for awhile, I like the idea of a cocktail dress and then using the rest for a blanket or maybe just donate it.

    I have no idea. lol

THIS! I do need to get it cleaned and make a decision cause mine, too, is taking up space on my loveseat in the living room.

I am going to do a trash the dress shoot and then have it cleaned, preserved, and put into an antique trunk I found... Lol for our daughter's dowry bahahaha. No just to keep it in case she does want it lol
