Looking for referrals on where to get bridesmaid dresses....

Hello ladies, I have looked at Alfred Angelo, David's Bridal, & Nordstrom. I am going to go to I Do Bridal, Lady Margaret's & Pearls & Lace. I am looking for a floor length strapless dress. I don't like the stiff Satin type dresses. I like more simple, Chiffon or Jersey type dresses. Any ideas, referrals.... thanks!

alfred has one that has a strap you could probably cut off.  I actually used the dress for my miads but I had the dress cut down to a tea length dress becuase i got married in a garden.  click on my bio and its under attire in the full length.

Thanks for the link! Those purple shoes are hot! When is/was your wedding? I like your idea of having each maid where their own color. How did that look?? Thank you for the referral! I am going to check out that dress! Alfred has a lot more/better colors to choose from than David's. Thanks!

Don't forget to look outside the bridal world! Especially since you want simple. Check out Nordstrom, Macy's etc.

Have you looked at JCrew.com's bridal line? They have some beautiful simple dresses.

Hi, I've looked at Nordstrom & Macy's, I've also searched at Sears and Pennys! lol That's funny that the dress you linked I looked at just today! BCBG actually has a special right now going on at Bell Square (I think) if you spend $300 you get $100 off. But my colors do not incl. purple. Very pretty dress though!!!

The other route you might want to try is prom dresses. A gal I know got her wedding dress from PromGirl.com. There are a lot of sites just for prom dresses. I too am searching for a dress. Good luck!
