Whats going on ? (PIP)

It seems the board is slow. All of our 2012 brides are leaving us. We 2013 brides have to keep it moving. 

How has everyone week been so far ?

 Have you been doing any WR things or just kinda chillin ? 

Well I finally got my STD's done and ready to go in the mail. I will be mailing them inside a xmas card with a note card from VP..here is the STD and note card.

After these go in the mail I will be taking a break from wedding planning as I need to detox from it for a bit. lol Im still going to be making my payments on things but other than my DIY projects will be on hold til Jan2013. I found a grey strand hair and im not feeling that..lol So yea..I need a break !

I love that your stds are going out for Christmas! So timely with the calendar! I too have noticed more gray throughout this process, smh 

My fiance and I are relocating. I just moved and he'll move after the first of the year so I've been taking my mom on appointments with me. We met with our DJ yesterday and 2 different options for decor/flowers. We're getting down to the wire (80 days) and have some large items left since we weren't in town but it's coming along! Speaking of, I made a post about our old school playlist...feel free to chime in!

Yea it is slow huh.. maybe its the holidays. I have my save the dates and invites printed and sealed, I will be mailing the save the dates the beginning of the year since im including stickers to mark their calenders. I think im done with my diy projects. So far Ive done 12 pomander balls, kids activities books, signs, guestbook, boutineers, paper lumanires and photobooth props. My dad & I will be making our photobooth when he comes to visit for Christmas. I feel you on the break thing- its like I live and breathe wedding stuff. I wonder what will occupy our time after the wedding. hmm

I was wondering the same thing today. I spend my whole day at work on the computer looking and ordering weddin stuff. What will I do after the wedding. I ordered my std's today, my invitations came on Monday along with my guestbook,pen & cake knife set. 

I admit I have not been real active on the site but i have been lurking.

I think because it's around the holidays, everybody has alot going on so that may be why it's moving slower than usual, but it will pick back up I'm sure. It' probably have it's ups and downs like anything else.

I have 5 of my 8 pomander balls done. Once I complete them then Ill work on my ribbon wands and jazzying up my vases and jars for the candy buffet.  After the 1st of the year im going to buckle down and work on the invites. These next 6 months are going to fly by !

Yay! 2013! I have been thinking the same thing, but many it is the holidays. 

Hit 7 month mark TODAY!!! 

I am waiting to hear back from our hotel, as they messed up our hotel block contract 

Waiting to confirm tasting menu with cater (sent list in).

Got my e-ring insured.

Been look on TK and WB for review on photo sharing. I think Wedding Turtle will be our choice.

But really, work is kicking hard; I'm a bit overwhelmed. Plus, I've also been putting more focus toward my upcoming job search.

What will you be using your ribbon wands for? I was thinking about making some for our exit and then I thought about for when we make the entrance at the reception.

Great job on the STDs! I'm assuming people are focusing on the holidays and that's why it's a little slow. FI put our reminding to-do items on the calendar tonight so we can keep up with what's left to do!

Its's my semester load that has me popping in and out...but thank goodness it's coming to a close next week! I will kicking into high gear next month with planning because I will have 10 mos to go!

I Definitely agree with creole..... this time of year...we all have life moving quickly around us.. the past months yes it was going on.. but NOW..we really are focusing on the holidays. I know for myself...I've been recuperating from surgery getting back on my feet(haha).. I am getting ready to order my invites.. since I will be sending them out early for our destination wedding.. I am still buying brooches for my brooch bouquet.. and I am finishing my DIY operation Bling my heels. Plus... remember this is engagement season... beginning of the year...we are going to have the newbie brides to be on here... so we need our rest right now...lol

Mari...I was thinking that too; we'll probably get some newbies with xmas in all..the fellas will be poppin that question for xmas. im like dang..where everybody at lol. Most of the 2012 brides are gone and dont come visit no more lol and we have a lot of 2013 brides who are getting married later in the year. But I figured once Xmas rolled around it would get quiet. Im glad you are on the road to a full recovery. Least its not summertime and gotta be cooped up in the house. I rather be in the house during the winter lol

I have never had soo much motivation to get back to the gym and work out... I figure that I would like to lose like 20-25lbs by the wedding...  not to put too much pressure on me..
