6 months to go 9/10/11 ladies!!

I just realized that we have exactly 6 months to go! While I have gotten a lot of things accomplished the past couple weeks I am still WAYY behind. This weekend I am going to take my sis/MOH and one of my bridesmaids in to see if they like the dress I have picked out. If not we have to make a decision so we can get those things ordered asap! How are you ladies doing? Panic starting to hit anyone besides myself?

Whooo Hooo for six months I just got my reminder email from the knot. I am not panicking yet but I am at the point where I know I have to buckle down. Most of the big stuff is done I just have to try to convince FI about the videographer and possible lighting. I so want both of those things and I am willing to donate some blood or some plasma to get them lol.

I just got my BM gift bags that I ordered from the knot and I had to order another one since I misspelled a name. That was a costly mistake wont be doing that again proofreading is my friend!

What other major checks do you have out there besides BM and what else are you panicking about?

The major checks that I have are:
-Photographer
-Caterer (although this may be changed)
-reception venue
-cake baker
-flute, violin and cello trio for ceremony
-ceremony venue (may be changed)

Pretty much everything else still needs to be done which is why I am trying not to panic. I spoke to the bridal salon about ordering my dress and at this point it should be here in mid-July (BIG panic!!). What if it doesn't come on time? I don't know why I thought I had all the time in the world. I now realize I don't. I am getting everything done in record time. I have started making sure we have at least two things done every week. With this pace we should have all major things paid off and taken care of by early August at the latest.

You are moving much faster than I am. This weekend I MUST decide on a gown for MYSELF. My FH is going to get his groomsmen and himself suited... I haven't really even THOUGHT about what my girls are going to wear. What are your colors?

My colors are black, cream, dark purple and silver. Our gm wearing all black tuxedos; the girls are wearing knee length black dresses and the flowergirl's dress will be silver.

I'm pretty far behind...we just put the deposit on the venue. Can't believe there's only 6 more months!

um...are we planning the same wedding? I am having the same colors except instead of cream we are using pink!
