in African American Weddings

So we want to pay off most vendors prior to the wedding day (except for those we feel need the motivation of an upcoming payment to perform in excellence).

We have paid off:
- our day-of-coordinator
- our photographer
- our venue

We are about to pay off:
- our florist
- our videographer

We are going to wait to pay these vendors on their deadlines:
- our caterer
- our lighting provider
- our DJ

We are so happy to pay in advance!!  God is good!

    GET IT, CINCY!!! I need to pay some ppl myself! lol. AND I need to be doing so much for this dang wedding, but I just don't feel like it.

    YAY!!! Date Twin!!!! I paid a couple of people off last night also!!! Great minds so think alike!!! Awesome checks and yes it is such a blessing!

    Congrats on paying off. I spoke with my dad last night and he wants the major vendors paid off by the beginning of April. Ill be so happy when that is done. Then I wont have to worry about that anymore.

    Congrats Cincy! We are trying to do the same thing! I was a little nervous about paying some folks in advance too, but FI said not to worry about it and that we need to eliminate that stress. Hopefully, everything will be paid off prior to the wedding. God is so good!

    WOW is surely good. I am going to do the same thing pay off those that I know will do a great job and hold off on those that need an extra incentive. Tax season could have been a little better for me but I know GOD will provide. Great checks and your wedding is like tomorrow can wait for you and Yas' big day!

    Thats great. I want to pay off my florist this month too.
    I always thought wour wedding was well before mine, but I guess its just one week. thanks for the reality check that its coming up.

    Thanks Sweets!  I agree about eliminating stress...we have had some instances of lack of follow-up with a few vendors, so we want to make sure they stay motivated to get the job done!   God is good - all the time!

    Glad my post helped .... once I realized we were at the 3 month and X weeks mark, it started sinking in that we are truly getting married soon!!
