Most local florists sell the petals in bags for like $5-8 each. If you have a wholesale flower district in your city, they sell petals in bulk as well.

Ask your florist. Ours is throwing in the petals at no extra charge. I've heard of a lot of florists doing this.

If you google rose petals, you can find them in bulk at several sites online. Petal Garden is a good one . They can even estimate how many you will need with their calculator tool.

Ebay has silk rose petals in lots of 100 or more starting at a dollar sometimes less.
