Right now I'm up in the air.  At this point it seems like I'm gonna have to do my own makeup unless the money fairy visits me for Christmas!  I usually don't wear makeup or just a little for special occasions.

I THINK I'm going to have someone come to us. {Great photo-ops. lol} If all else fails and the prices aren't what I think they should be, I will hit up MAC and Ulta and get what I need {which is prolly nothing ,but an excuse to go there} and do it myself! And my whole BP know how to do make up.

I'm having a MUA come to me. Mainly for photo-ops and our timeline too! I don't want my BP to have a reason to leave the hotel, they are late for EVERYTHING!!!

do you have anyone in your family who does  makeup?  i did my face and lips.  my cousin did my eyes.  she really should be doing it for MAC or something like that.  she's that good.

What are your thoughts about going to a makeup counter and getting it done?  I've never done this and don't really know what brand/line does to contact first!  Have any of you ever done this?

<div>The lovely MAC does. You usually just have to make a $50 purchase though. Or something like that. They did my make up for my e-pix.</div>

I have a MUA coming to us. I don't wear anything but gloss and she was coming to do me so I figured she could just come do everyone. 2 of my bridesmaids are going to someone else but the majority of us will get it done in the room. I am kind of nervous about the make up so I will be going for a few trials before the big day but I love the artist she is the bomb I am just worried that I wont like it since I don't wear anything but gloss.

I know i need to grow up and start using it but I just cant :(

<div>With MAC, you can tell them the occasion and if you want a lot of make up or just a natural look. Corey in the Galleria does a good job. He did my e-pix makeup. I've never had them cake a lot of make up on me.</div>

I'm a MAC supporter all the way. Been wearing it for over ten years.  Whenever I got to the counter I end up spending waaaay too much money (last year, I went to get my makeup done for the winter ball and left with almost $300 worth of stuff..hanging my head in shame, lol).

As far as your question: two of my play aunties are Mary Kay consultants so they came and did my makeup, my mother's and my bridesmaids.  I came with a whole case of MAC stuff but ended up using t heir products and I was pleasantly surprised.  I would definitely have the MUA come to YOU though so you don't have to worry about people being late or getting their on time.

<div>$300?! GEEZ! lol. I want their brush set, but can't seem to bring myself to paying $80 or whatever for it. I bought some brushes from Walmart. I only use the big one for my foundation. I don't even like using brushes, I just want them!</div>

Ty....YEP.. I had bought the brushes, some concealer, about six eyeshadows, one of their promotional lip gloss kits that had about six shades, the brushes, some brow concealer, this cream to put on your eyelids before you put shadow on, the finishing spray, some lip conditioner,  and my staples: Oh Baby lip gloss and a chestnut lip pencil, lol. Girl a WHOLE LOT OF STUFF..

Since I'm in the military and have to wear this boring uniform I wear makeup everyday because otherwise I feel "manly"...yall know I whacked my hair off gotta keep it feminine.  I don't pile makeup on my face..I keep it natural looking but I do wear foundation, eyeshadow, blush, use eyebrow powder..I do the whole nine. I used to forgo makeup before the Army but I just can't live without it now.

<div>I LOVE my paint! It's so great! Keeps my eyeshadow on ALL DAY! Sounds like you have a MAC store in your house! lol. I also wear Ulta, Loreal, and Maybelline eyeshadow. I only wear eyeshadow and foundation. That blush stuff was taking me too fast! lol.</div>

This is exactly what I'm doing! My Aunt is a Mary Kay consultant and she's doing my makeup and my 6 BMs makeup for FREE! She's been a consultant for about 10 years so she knows what she is doing and she has plenty of product...so I don't have to buy anything!
