Veil over the face?

If you don't have a bird cage, are you chosing to wear your veil over your face?
I am trying to decide which i want to do. I have a long veil and the front or blusher veil just seems to bulky to me. I do like how they look over the face though, but I LOVE the look of showing off the hair piece with the veil too. Geesh, decisions decisions.

What are you doing?

No veil over my face.  I hate having things in/on/over my face.
Besides.  I want everyone to see how happy I am as walk toward my love....

I haven't picked out a veil... which will probably be my next post on here. But it DEFINITELY will NOT be in my face.

I would prefer to not have it in my face but my FI said he has always wanted to lift the veil on his bride

I wont be having it over my face.  I tried it out and didnt like the look. Plus the FI said the veil was a bit too much.  I will be having a beautiful hairpiece though so the veil will have to be light.

I am not putting it over my face, but perhaps a compromise would be to walk down with it over your face and have your father or FI remove it once you get to the altar.

I have a cathedral veil but it's single tier so it won't be going over my face.  Personally, I'm just not a fan of the look of a blusher over my face because it's a little creepy.  That's just me though!
