Time for change....

I am feeling like I need a change in my life right now in a major way. I feel so stuck and stagnant right now, and this is not the time!! I am actually in the process of looking for jobs in Atlanta or the outskirts around Douglasville. My Fiance is excited about the idea and would love to move as well. I was born and raised in New Orleans, finished college in New Orleans, and I completing my MBA online so I feel now is the best time to pave a way and bring about change for the better.

I love my city SOOO much, but I don't want to be in a place where I feel I have no chance for advancement. I have gone as far as to apply to SOOO many jobs out there, I just pray something opens up for me. I have a brother in Douglasville, GA that would love for us to be out there, I just pray an opportunity presents itself.

Please keep us in ya'll prayers it will be greatly appreciated.

I love Atlanta...hated to leave. I think it is a great place to be if you want room for growth. I pray that you are blessed with a wonderful job wherever it is that God means for you to be...just have faith that His time is perfect and try to be patient now that you've done the work (i.e. applied to lots of places).

I know how you feel - I felt the same way when I moved to Orlando from Atlanta to be with FI after grad school. I couldnt find anything in my field, and was depressed for a while. So we made the decision to move back to Atlanta. I found something in my field and FI did after a few months. Praying for you and hoping you find something soon:)

I am finishing up my MBA in HR which is sooo hard to break into!! I am an Executive Assistant right now at a College in New Orleans. I have applied for both job titles in Atlanta. I trust that great things will come my way. I'm at work now still applying to jobs!! I won't give up!!

I am also from New Orleans, while I am fortunate that i have a great job here, my FI who is a college graduate is having the hardest time trying to find jobs in both New Orleans and Atlanta. It seems like he is constantly applying but getting NO WHERE! He has a job now (all praise and honor to HIM for that), but its not within his major. For fun, he even applied for a job that he was over qualified for, but he still didn't get it. I remind him all the time that he has to continue to pray and be thankful for the blessings he has already been given. Something good will come out of it when he leasts expects it. It just so happened yesterday he was offered an interview (Again! this is a job that is not within his major) and he calls me today and tells me that he was offered the job on the spot, and its paying more $$$ with better benefits. Meanwhile, he is still waiting to hear from some jobs in ATL as well.

MsRichards keep your head up, there's a blessing with your name on it just be patient, and it will come when you least expect. I will keep you in my prayers.
