Hey Ladies,

Well I am currently 1 finger short - - more on this later - - AND my good news for the day is that I'm FINALLY setting appointments to do some dress shopping with my mom (and others).  I'm pretty happy about that because we live about 5 hrs apart and its been complicated getting her here to do some dress shopping with me.  So big check to me just for making some headway.

OK so I'm not  literally a finger short but I did end up taking a quick trip to urgent care today to get some stiches.  Apparently a mandolin is not my best kitchen appliance.  Trying to be a good wifey tonight, I baked up some chicken and started to slice some sweet potoatoes for sweet potato fries.  NOPE! 3rd slice in and I really jacked up my pinkie.  Gotta love good pain pills and good nurses.

I'm so sorry to hear that! Ironically enough, I had a similar experience involving my desk chair and wooden desk (don't ask) several weeks ago. I NEEDED stitches, but didn't realize it until my dad blessed me out about not going to urgent care. It looks a little funky, but it healed eventally. Glad you let them set you straight. Feel better soon!

Ouch! Hope you feel better soon and glad it wasn't that bad. I usually mess something up as well when trying to be a good wifey-to-be in the kitchen, but usually its the food...lol.
