Card box location queston???

Do the card box/bird cage go in the ceremony location or reception location....Im using a bird cage and i don't know where it should go....

I am putting it near the gift table which will be near the head table in the back.

If someone tried to walk off with my card box.... ohhhhh I don't even want to think about how I would react. I can know who I invited... but I dont know all the plus ones... there is always one shady person in the group.

I am even going to tether my card box to the table. 

We just cant trust everyone and I have heard stories.... I dont want to be one of them.
