BP Table or Sweetheart?

Conversation of the weekend for FI and I was if we should have a BP or sweetheart table. I really wanted sweetheart, he wanted BP. Because he cares so much (who knew!), I am allowing him to do the BP table. *love*

What are you ladies doing? For those having a BP table, are you having a significant other/+1 table for your BP's guests?

We are doing the sweetheart table so WP can sit with SO.....

I wanted sweetheart. We are doing a bridal party table because he doesn't want to sit alone with me...sad face. He's like "what if I want to talk to my boys?" Dude! You're supposed to talk to me! There will be no significant others at our table. No one is even married so yeah.

Sweet heart table. The majority of my bridal party has significant others, so I thought they might want to sit with them instead of us all night :-)

Hi Keyaira! We are definitely doing a sweetheart table. All my girls and most of his guys are married. I want them to be with their significant other and I want us to have that first time as husband and wife together eating...although that time may be minute.

Ladies, this was SO my logic. But FI pulled the same thing as MrsBoss2012's FI. Talking about we have our whole marriage to sit at a table alone and talk to each other. Really?

lol @ MrsBoss and Key FI's...Men what are we gonna do with these FI's ? lol..We havent discuss this yet. I want to do sweetheart..Im have to ask him what he wants..good question !

We're doing a sweetheart table with two side tables for the wedding party (inspiration pic below). At first, I wanted significant others at the wedding party tables but decorator explained that it wouldn't look to uniformed in the pics & that the wedding party wouldn't have to sit up front the whole night, just for pics and stuff. Also, if we wanted to speak with anyone in the wedding party, they're not that far away & we still are able to have our own private convo if we wanted. I'm very happy with my choice.

BSIMS- that set up is HOT!

We have a very small reception room. so our wedding party is sitting together due to lack of room/tables and the way it's set up.

There's no way to show him the pic & compromise? My FI originally didn't want the wedding party up front with us but after showing him some pics & explaining everything, he was completely fine with the arrangement we have now.

We had a sweetheart table and our wedding party sat with their wives/husbands/guests.  I was a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding and had to sit up front with the wedding party instead of with my FI (at the time) and I was absolutely miserable during the dinner portion.  I'm a big advocate of the sweetheart table, plus pictures are so adorable.  You would only be sitting down for dinner or some of it and afterwards you won't be anywhere near the table.

We're havin our sweetheart table up on a stage, and then having the bridal party sit down in front of us. Only two members of our BP are married, and they dnt mind sitting at the BP table. They said if they want their significant other, they will grab them to dance.! Lol. Besides, everybody will be sittng with family, so they'll be okayy.

We're doing a U shaped Head Table for the BP and their SO. There are only 3 married folk and the rest aren't even attached to anybody. So we should be fine with the number of people at the table.

brit that setup is cute.    key is there room to do 4 inside tables in the shape of circle and 6 tables which surround them?

I haven't even considered it yet, our bp is my dd, his ds (both teens), my bestie and his bestie (both married).  I've got zero ideas.

This.. this is exactly what we did.. and it gave us time to be together. It served as our meeting place if we ever got pulled away from each other.. and we were able to laugh and have jokes between each other, without other people butting in.

Plus.. the people in our wedding were family.. my sister and her hubby and then my hubby's brother and sister.. so we just had them sit at the family tables.. mostly because then my sis and bro in law would be able to take care of my nephews, and they wouldn't throw fits..
