I just did a super-painful thing, guys... [IMG]http://i37.tinypic.com/10elmwo.png[/IMG] That's my RING finger. Pulled away from the nail. My pinkie got it too, just not as bad. Now typing sucks. Oy, I hope this heals before the wedding...

    Ouch! I hurt just looking at it. I don't think it is a sign, just dumb luck.

    I wish my natural nails would grow like that. Mine suck. What is your secret to get your nails looking so nice? But I do agree with PP it does hurt just looking at it.

    OW! Ow! Ow! There is nothing more painful than an injury to your nail. I fell down a flight of stairs and grabbed out with my hand to try and steady myself...ripped my middle fingernail OFF! I then proceeded to throw-up. You poor thing. It's not a sign, just an unfortunate incident. That is going to bruise horribly though. You may have to do a slightly darker mani for the wedding. Have FI kiss it better, from all of us...

    Haha, thanks, girls. It is slowly getting dark reddish/purple under the nail, but... I'm going to deal with it. :) *puts on a brave face* I'll definitely have FI kiss it. LOL Secret to my nails? Not much. I guess it's genes. *shrugs* I don't do much to them, and I mostly file them every once in a while. I've only gotten fakies once, and hated them If I could pinpoint what it was, I'd share, for sure. :)

    OWIE!!!  I'm so sorry!  I remember I slammed my car door on my right thumb like 2 weeks before tennis season began my senior year.  Needless to say, I was horrified when the nail started coming off a couple months later - just in time for prom.  Fortunately I had justenough of a thumbnail to have fakies put on.  I was going to suggest getting them, but if you don't like them, then don't.  Yeech, still looks painful looking at it while I'm typing this.
