Can I vent?

Nothing major just a little irritated when I am trying to get in contact with someone and they do not return my calls or e-mails but I notice they are updating FB status EVERYDAY!!!

Then they finally call and go into this drawn out speech on how they have been sooooo busy and haven't had a moment to think. Hmmm.... according to FB you've had at least 5  minutes each day.... This isn't one of my BMs and i'm not calling her because I need anything I just want to check up. She had health issues and I wanted to make sure she was okay. And no I didn't want to read about it on FB.

I feel you on this!

I had a similar situation where i was contacting a friend on fb to invite her to the wedding and get her address.  While doing that i noticed she had been in the hospital and was udating her status about it.  People were leaving her comments of "hope you feel better soon" and things of that sort so i did the same and inboxed her about how she was doing and that i didnt know she was in the hosptial.  Never got one response from her but yet she was replying to everyone else comments so i just left it alone.  first I thought maybe she is just trying to recover and not returning emails but once I saw her updating her status every day and responding to everyone else comments about how she was doing i just left it alone and decided not invite her since she never responded with her address.  Oh well, you never know what people are going through or what issues they have with themsleves.

O M G..yes I was going thru this with the 1st photgrapher I wanted...I would inbox her, leave her wall post and she would not respond but would be posting pics up, leaving status updates..so I went with someone else ! I'm loving my photog..he is awsome !!

Aww! It will be ok Carla I know that can be very frustrating! The nerve of some people....

It is the most annoying thing ever! It sounds like you were doing a good thing Carla. You put yourself out there to reach out to her like a concerned friend. That's on her conscious if she'd rather update her facebook then get back to you.

People let fb tell on them. I had somebody who owed me some money and needed an "extension" but went on fb talking about a shopping spree. So either you were lying to me or you lying to the facebook world. It'll catch up with them.

I'm sorry you're going through this Carla.  Don't let these folks get you all worked up.  Pray for her health and keep on moving.  I know it's frustrating, though.

 I so feel your pain..My sister does it all the time...That is just why I always check FB before getting worried about people. They claim to be so this and that but  have time for FB..I don't get it...When I was wrapped up with school my fb, theknot and everything outside of home & homework was neglected..I had my momma calling to see if I was still alive (we ususally talk at least 3x's a week) lol..I get the frustration on your end, but I've come to realize that people don't think others care about them and will call just to say hi..if ain't on fb it's not important...smh

She may have figured that catching up with u = talking about her illness. and what is going on with it and was possibly just delaying that.  Sometimes that isnt easy and a person who is ill want to just carry on with life pretending it isnt an issue and will push away people that just want to "be there" for them. 
I understand how irritating that must be from your end.  but, when it comes to peoples health you have to be on their time. No matter how much u just want to see how they are doing.  try not to be offended.
