Monday Madness

Morning ladies!

How was your weekend?

Did you get your WR and NWR things done?

I went to a venue this weekend that I fell in love with on pictures, however, when I got there, I have to say, I was a bit disappointed.

Oh well, on to the next!

I am in the process of purging my closet making room for future hubby.  It's soooo HARD yall.  I have ALOT of clothes...ALOT...and I said that I was going to get rid of anything I hadn't worn in the last year but then I thought about it and was like HOLD UP!!  I have enough clothes for THREE WOMEN.  I have a three bedroom and I have clothes in EVERY single closet.  It's ridiculous. I've already parted with about sixty pair of shoes so...I'm a work in progress. :(...I need a glass of Mascato just thinking about parting with all of my babies.

I worked my part-time job all weekend (ugh!) we stayed open an extra hour and then on top of that then we had to stay and help recover the store. So not happy about that. I did make me a bob wig that turned out well, my very first one.

WR: I tossed around the idea of skipping the big wedding with fi and just doing a small something or having a destination wedding. Still waiting on a response from him he says I'm stressing out but I'm telling him that I will not be working full-time anymore sooooooo......we need to come up with a plan! I had plans on graduate school long before we got engaged and set a wedding date.

This weekend, I cleaned out my closet,  got rid of a ton of stuff, as DH uses the guestroom closet, but with baby coming, we have to make room, until we buy our house. Then we went to a cookout for a bit. Yesterday, I paid for it all. I was so sick, DH threaten to take me to the ER, but I got out of it( I HATE ER).

Nothing WR for me, except waiting on my pics and video.

@Miabridentampa, you are so pretty and you all are a beautiful couple you will have a beautiful baby! Congrats! As for me, I was able to get rid of my oldest most of the wkend when she spent alot of time with my sisters.  Also me and hubby took the younger kids to the mall's play area.  I watched a bunch of wedding TV, went to church and just slept.  Pretty lazy wkend

I feel like I got barely anything done over the weekend, but here are the few things we did.

    1) Decided we aren't hiring a jazz band.  Too much extra $$ that we really don't need to spend and honestly we don't need a band during the times we were going to use them.  We're just going to ask our DJ to put together a nice playlist for the pre-ceremony and cocktail hour instead of the band.

    2) Officially hired our DOC!  Just need to fax b ack the contract as soon as I'm back home.

    3) I bid on a reception dress on ebay.  Pray for me that I get it at a great discount - I have about 3 more days to go and I'm still the highest (and only) bidder!!   (P.S. This is a big deal for me b/c I am not an ebay person and I'm usually scared to bid - LOL.)

    4) FI and I went to church and sat with friends of his (well, I guess they're "our" friends now).  Service was great!

    5) These same friends gave us tickets to the Cincnnati Reds baseball game (great seats) b/c they couldn't go.  FI and I went for about an hour just to experience it b/c I'd never been.  It was really fun, but sooo hot!  I don't know how people sit in that hot sun for hours on end.  I did like hearing all of these players coming out to different hip hop songs.

    6) FI and I had a date night and went to the movies to see "Inception"....SO GREAT!!  Please go see it now!  And then we went to dinner afterwards and sat outside so we could people watch.

    7) Made FI dinner for the first time (LOL) and he LOVED IT!  I made teryaki salmon with snow peas and carrots over jasmine rice.  I was scared b/c I really don't have a lot of experience making seafood b/c my mom didn't like it and never cooked it.  But I did good ladies!  hahaha

    8) I updated the wedding web site with our engagement pictures.

    WE DID NOT:

    1) Do the registry (in fact I forgot to even bring it up to FI!)
    2) Work on our pre-marital class paperwork (and it's going to take forever!).  We need to get on it!

@ Cincy - We saw Inception a few weeks ago. It was really good! Super deep...I think the ending was perfect for a sequel, but kind of want them to leave it alone. I like it just the way it is!

Ugh - everyone in the theater just groaned when the movie ended and that scene was cut off!!  It was so crazy!  Girl that movie was so good.  I haven't enjoyed a movie in the theater for a long time, but that gave me hope that they are still making a few good movies that are worth the high ticket prices!  LOL

Yeah I think they should leave it as is...sometimes you can't answer every question....
