You want to do what for our honeymoon?

Ok so my FI had been saying more than likely we would do the Bahamas for our honeymoon after he realized if we did it as a destination wedding alot of people we both wanted there may not be able to come.  So we are watching a movie over the weekend and they are white water rafting in the movie.  Why did he say that would be a great thing to do for our honeymoon let's do that? I give him the side eye and say oh really and where would we do that at?  He says " We could go to Colorado" I just looked at him and then went back to watching the movie.  Which makes me wonder.  What weird ideas have your FI's thrown out for honeymoon ideas?

My FI wants to go to Green Bay, WI.  He is huge Packers fan and wants to go there to see there stadium.  That idea got shot down really quickly!

I have no problem with Colorado. I have a few friends that live out there and are always saying I should come out to visit.  I want to go to visit. It was the fact that he wants to go white water rafting for our honeymoon.  I guess with us living in Florida already and being 45 min from the closest beach he wants to do something different.

Oh ok. Well at least he didn't say he wanted to go sky diving or something real off the wall! LOL!

I was the weird one for the honeymoon suggestions. DH wanted "anything with a beach" and I wanted to go to a ranch in Montana. One of my coworkers went there for a trip and his pictures just shocked me! Its so gorgeous out there! Needless to say, DH shot that one down very quickly

At least he offered up something. Mine had no suggestions about where to go or what he wanted to do nada. I had to plan it all and hope that he liked it. Which he did, so sometimes you have to just take over and stop taking their suggestions.
