Our invites are sealed and boxed up beside the door. They will go out tomorrow if the weather doesn't prevent me from leaving the house. My sister and FI came through for me when it seemed I was going to lose my mind over them and their help is why I finished them yesterday versus chunking them in the trash.
The story behind the invites is that I didn't design them myself...I hired a graphic designer to recreate something similar to one that I saw and loved on Etsy with some tweaking to the design. She did just that and I took the designs to get printed. I ended up doing the cutting by myself, which is what took me so long because I was paranoid about them messing up and not doing all of the cuts just right. I also made my own belly bands, which was actually FUN! Go figure...I'm glad that I did that because I feel really good about the finished product. Pics to come.
I did response codes on the back of the response cards in case people don't put their names in. I didn't do numbers cause I doubt guest number 183 would feel special so I did them with initials and a number 1-7. For example, Jane Doe would have been coded JD1.
