Friday Rant and Rave

Rave:  Statewide teacher inservice day today so no school for me!!  Instead I get to go get copies of Marriage Cert so I can get a new license, social security card, change my name on bank account, all the fun stuff!  Yay!!  DH and I going to Leavenworth for the weekend for Oktoberfest.  Staying at our timeshare, nice little getaway a few weeks after the wedding!   Got our formals back from the photog and they are fabulous!!  Rant: still trying to figure out how to word an email to my dad in response to a not so nice one from him. Ughhhh :(

    Rave: Teacher in-service day! I still have to work, but not with any children! I will get so much done, and I get to go to our other campus & see some people I haven't seen in a while. AND I get to wear jeans today. Rant: I first have to go to MY campus for a 20min parent meeting... that I really shouldn't be having, this parent is just super pushy. Argh. Rave 2: Corn maze tomorrow! Rant 2: My MOH was "so excited" to come with us to the maze, but I learned from her facebook yesterday that she actually got football tickets with her new boyfriend, but she still hasn't told me that she's not going with us... She's been doing this crap a lot. =(

    Rant:  I have a ton of calculus homework this weekend (none of which I understand, can anyone help with trig???) I so need to find a tutor!  Rant # 2:  My future step-son is here for a month (long story) and his mother won't make a decision if we can have custody.Rave #1 Tomorrow we finally reach our one year mark and I go meet with my seamstress to start my dress!!!!Rave # 2 It is Friday and all is quiet so far!

    Rant: This day is going to drag... and my FI has the day off and I wish I was spending it with him instead of at work! Rave: We are having our 5th annual scary movie night party on Saturday and tonight I am going with my friend to look at her wedding dress!! :)

    Rant: I'm debating between 2 cars to buy, and one of the sellers won't get back to me. This is very frustrating. Rant 2: DH and I have been having some issues lately, :( This whole deployment thing is really wearing is down. Rave: I got nothing really. Except I may get a new car this weekend.

    Rave: We decided on a venue - Hidden Meadow in Moses Lake AND I'm going dress shopping in Spokane tomorrow with my mom! Rant: It's cloudy and cold. :( I miss summer.

    Cupcake - I've had that happen as a customer trying to buy a car. I just figure things happen for a reason. Don't let the seller know you're really interested - it may be a ploy for them to get you antsy about buying it. If anything, let them know you're looking at another car that you're considering as well and you just want to know if that one is still available or not. Did I also mention I used to sell cars? Shhhh...didn't really like that job.... Rant: Back at work after being out for a couple days with a cold Rave: Feeling better & meeting up with old friends from college tomorrow!

    Rant - my neck and shoulders have been killing me all week and I have had a headache all week.  I need rest and an ice pack.Rave - FI and I are going grocery shopping cuz we have NO food in the house and we are then having a quiet night in with movies and popcorn.  Rant 2:  FI grandpa was diagnosed with cancer a few months back (shortly after his grandma died of cancer) and is now stopping chemo and bed ridden and not expected to make it to xmas (he has the same thing my grandpa died from 3 years ago).  Very hard.Rave 2: FI cousin is getting married this weekend and I am obsessed with that side of the family so I am really excited to go, plus its at Columbia Winery which we looked at so it will be fun to see what a wedding looks like there.

    Rant: The place hasn't called me yet to tell me the dress I want to try on is in.. Rant: Doing DIY projects for some one else's wedding. Rave: My FI is the best.

    Jolene - I'd buy a car from you. Haha. He finally responded and I have an appt tonight to go look at it. My day is getting progressively better since I've not been getting turned down for donations for an event for school. Except now my being lazy in bed has got to end because I have to get up and get dressed for my internship.

    Rant: I'm exhausted because I didn't sleep last night. My job has me VERY stressed right now, and I just want to walk out!Rave: I just scored two tickets to the Seahawks game on Sunday! Woo hooo!! (I'm a HUGE football fan)

    Rave: B-pics on Sunday and a three day week end for me! Shopping with FMIL tomorrow too. Should be a fun week end. Rant: still feeling sad about what happened yesterday. oh well.

    Rave: Took my kindergarteners to the pumpkin patch today. They were so cute! Rant: I'm not at a "real" school so I had to work today and have extra school kids. The wedding budget and this across the state thing with only six days off of work for the holidays is really going to be hard. I need to find my dress and meet with my vendors very efficiently when I make it home. :(
