HELP!! tell me if this is corny lol

Ok so I am using sparklers for my exit after the reception. I wanted the DOC or DJ to say this or just post it on the projector screens somehow. Please let me know this is corny or how I can make this better.

When John saw Kristen for the first time, her smile lit up his sky.
As their love grew, their first kiss confirmed how they light up each other lives.
Now, we are here to celebrate their wedding day.
Let's share in their sparkle and send them off in a big way!

I really like it too!  Our venue offers the sparklers, but I never thought about having a farewell speech to go along with the sparklers.  Good idea!

Thanks everybody...I'm kinda excited I looked at the weather and it has 60 percent chance of rain. I hope it doesn't decide til that night if it does rain.
