BM Dress Dilemma

I dont think I posted this last week, but I have a BM who's dress doesn't zip fully. We have 7 weeks left. I called Pearls Place, they said with a rush we could order another dress and it MAY make it....may not. Even if it does make it in time, there wouldn't be time for any alterations I'm sure.

What else could we do? I don't know how much isn't zipping.

I said see if it could be let out some with some added fabric from the bottom that has to be cut off.

OR turn it into a corset instead of zipper.

I think the corset is the way to go? How much was the dress? That could easily add another $100 to the tag where going into the designers store ( if thats an option) may have the same cost associated.

She should get to a seamstress today to see if that or adding panels is an option

So I have a seamstress who is THE BOMB! She said just bring it to her and she needs to see her in the dress and she'll work it out. She is going to have to cut off part of the dress because she is a shorty like me.
