Am I wrong?

I know I could ask you ladies anything..

My bridal shower is next mth Im so excited and I cant wait.

All my bridal party lives outta town 1hr 1/2 away and my sis in NYC. So with that said my party is coming to me to throw me the shower, which is nice because they all lived here at one point. Since they dont live here I offered our house to throw the shower since im in the center of town and easy to get too.

So they asked me what food I wanted, so I told them. I even got to pick out my invites. I wont have to do anything but look FAB the day of. Catering will deliver food and they will all come down in the morning to decorate etc.. Guess my ? is.. is it wrong that its at my house?

    No, it isn't wrong. You aren't throwing it...they are so it's actually really nice of you to save them the additional costs of securing another venue.

    You are soooo sweet and considerate.  I was waiting for the "wrong" part in your post and when I finished reading it I was like, "is that it??".  Girl NOOO  you are not wrong. I think that's wonderful of you.  I hope you have a great time and the invite is amazing.

    ok y'all make me feel alot better! I know I have read on the pre wedding party board they rip those girls a new one when they have any involvement in the shower. So I just wanted to see what your take was on it!

    Girl... NOOOOO!!!!   Why would you think that you are wrong???  That's what friends do for one another... Everyone is coming from near and far... just for you... I think you offering your home is very gracious and I'm sure very much appreciated by them.

    No you are not wrong. My bridal shower is this weekend & it will be at my house. Havin it there helps my sister (MOH) save on venue rentals & your invite is so cute :)
