First of all...why is it that when I shop for shoes online (I sometimes do a google image search so I can see a lot at a glance), all of the shoes have the red bottom (i.e. Christian Louboutin) and that is not even an option right now.

Now, the real reason for my post...I am still searching for navy bridesmaid shoes in the $50.00 price range for my bridesmaids. I am so close to pulling out my hair cause it just isn't happening. I ran across these dyeables today. (See below...price is $59.99) I don't REALLY like them, but if they were dyed to match, I think I could stand them. It's not that I think they are ugly, but I had something different in mind originally is all so no offense if you have this shoe!




What do you think of them HONESTLY? Anyone ever had experience with David's Bridal shoes? Will they even dye the shoes since we didn't order any dresses from there? Do they have a color that is a true navy?

I have heard bad stories about DB when it comes to dying shoes. HTH

I'm contemplating using them for shoes as well because the store here that is known for all dyeable shoes (Brucettes) charges $10 and DB only charges $3. They only dye shoes in their color palatte though.

Those are cute. I found these on zappos if you want other options.... Some are a little more than $50 but depending on how much the dying costs, it maybe about the same. HTH!

@ Mrs. Dorris - I saw two pair on your list that I will suggest. Most of my girls are okay with $75.00 range, but I have a few that asked to stick closer to $50.00...it is soooo hard!

i know im late, but i tried on those EXACT shoes @DB feeling the EXACT way you are feeling about them.... that they were "cheap & inoffensive" but they HURT LIKE HELL!!! I wouldn't wish them on my enemy

Just like everyone else, I've heard bad stories about DB's dyeable shoes. And the bad thing about it is...I heard the bad stories from an employee of DB. While I was trying on dresses my dress consultant warned me about their dyeable shoes. I'm glad she did because I was seriously thinking about purchasing my shoes from there!!

Thanks ladies for the input...DB is definitely out of there! Sending the girls an email now with options. I actually looked at Zappos again and in addition to the suggestions from you all, I found a few more in the $59-80 range. I am going to post the shoe pic, designer and style names, site I found it, and price and get their feedback. If I get an overwhelming response, I'll go with it otherwise, I'm using it to narrow down our options before picking one.
