Groom's Wedding Day Gift

Should it be something for him to use on the wedding day or just something he wants?

I was originally thinking of getting him a really nice Movado watch because I know he would never buy one for himself, but he keeps talking about wanting a new Xbox or PS3 or some gadget.

So now I'm wondering if I should buy him his game system....

What are you ladies doing...something you want him to have or something he wants?

    I am going with something I know he wants.   He is happiest when I do that versus giving him something I want him to have.



    Love is the ultimate superpower.   
    It can make you weak and strong simultaneously.

    I bought DH a video camera. I know he wanted one plus I thought it would be good for us as a family to have.

    I am going with a watch.  He loves collecting different watches, so I figured I would add a nice one to his collection.

    I am giving him boudoir photos and a watch if I can find the watch he wants.  The photos are something I want him to have and the watch is something I know he wants.

    FI has made it painfully clear he wants a Movado watch.  In fact every time we go looking at wedding bands, he's distracted by looking at the Movada watches.  I think he'd rather have this instead of the wedding band so this may be what I get him.

    I'm giving FI a watch.. he's been hinting that he wants one for the longest time, and I know that he doesn't have any dress watches...

    MIght even throw in some Jordans..lol.. baby loves his kicks!

    FI and I are not exchanging gifts. I was going to do a b-session, but since I went over budget on a few areas, that will have to wait till his b-day or our 1st anniversary.

    A computer! Lol My FI is a techie (sp?), so I'm getting him a fancy sony touch screen computer for our new place!

    FI is getting boudior pics but he doesn't know because we didn't plan on exchaning gifts because of our tight budget.

    Thanks for the input ladies....I may buy him the game system and have it at my house until we get back from the honeymoon and give him a watch to wear on the wedding day.
