Need Bridesmaid Gift Ideas

Hi ladies. I need help with bridesmaids gifts. My initial plan was a spa/relaxation bag which would include body wash, a puff scrubber, a candle, a pair of wine glasses and a gift card for a bookstore since all my bridesmaids are avid readers.

Now I am wondering if the wine glasses will survive two flights without breaking.  What can I substitute into my spa/relaxation bag that will fit into my theme in place of the wine glasses?

What is your budget? No flames please, but as a bridesmaid, I don't want body wash nor a scrubber. The idea is nice, but I just don't want it. Me personally, I used to work at a candle store and have become a bit picky on candles. Again, if it's something run of the mill like yankee candle, no thanks.

Give one significant gift that your bridesmaids will remember and make them individualized to your friendship with them if you can. If they are avid readers, give them the entire collection of books by their favorite author. Or just increase the price of the giftcard.

    Just my two cents.

No flames. I appreciate the feedback. I was trying to stay in the $50 - $75 range for gifts.

I'm looking into spa wraps for my girls. I think it's a simple gift that can be used over and over. You could probably look into getting that plus a bag to place them in.

One of the gifts I'm giving my girls is this:
    personalized tote bags
individual tea mugs with built in infusers (put fresh tea leaves in with boiling water, it seperates the tea leaves and u get a fresh cup of tea each time)
    assorted, flavored teas from teavanna.com
    journals
    pens
    candles
    sleep eye masks

I also got them cute lil purses to carry the day of the wedding which I will give them on Saturday at my bridal shower.

You have a great budget. Try the following websites for ideas

For the readers, what about a really nice blanket or quilt that they can cozy up with while reading their book? Not a monogrammed one but something really classy that they might want to really hold on too.

I have 2 girls. One will get a pair of gold hoops. We met in girl scout camp 20 years ago. Her tag will read: "Make new friends, but keep the old, one is silver and the other's gold."

My sister will receive a silver star pendant with a tag that reads "Your a shining star". She is doing excellent in school and I am so proud of her.
