Boxes or Bags?

Are you ladies doing card boxes, carrying a bag or both ?

I dont really want to have a bag on my arm most of the night. But I know that some of my older relatives dont like using card boxes that no one is really watching. Also some will give cash. My mom said that she would carry the bag if I wanted her to. But we're getting married on her birthday. I want her to enjoy herself and not have to worry about keeping track of it. IDK

What do you ladies think ?

Box.  No one (you or your mom) needs to be carrying around a bag. I'm doing a box and have one of my hostesses keeping an eye on it.  Besides, it's a little too heavy for someone to just oh so easily walk out of the door without anyone noticing

We are doing a box and our DOC is assigning someone to watch it.

I didn't even consider the idea of the bag, but that will be a little frustrating to carry around all night.  I think I may do a box and have my DOC assign someone to keep an eye on it.

We are doing a box and having our DOC put a heavy weight in it and keep an eye on it. We don't want it to grow legs and walk away.

FI insisted on a bag.  I told him just because he's gone to a wedding in the past where the box was stolen, didn't mean it would happen to us.  However, he wouldn't let it go and it wasn't worth the fight.  My MOH will hold it so that I won't have to.
