Don't be tardyy for the party.....the dress

What did you all think of the dress?  If you have seen the show....it reminded me of the 18 century dresses, not what I thought she would wear.

  • I loved the first gown however the first was a HOT MESS! The jumpsuit...... not going to touch that. Smh

  • I thought...totally Kim. I the first two gowns, but I could not see anyone else really wearing them. Anything less than those two dresses would not have represented the person that she appears to be. There is a dress for everyone, and I think she found hers in the over the top Panina's.

I felt the same way. It's seemed like it was too much, but I expected it. I wasnt a fan of the veils either. I teared up when kroy read his vows and gave rings to her daughters.

All of this!!  I wanted to take the veils off her head so bad. And knowing that the first dress was $50K + I just keep thinking you could have done so much better for that price.

I know this show has to be over the top to keep ratings high but all I keep thinking of was how I would have hated to be a guest at the reception. The ceremony was beautiful but if you change 3 times at a reception than you are caring more about yourself than your guests.

I was too through when she kicked her mom out because she used the bathroom in the house. God don't like ugly.

  • I HATED the first dress! The 2nd dress was very pretty, and the jumpsuit was actually a clever idea. However, she mentioned that she made all of these changes for comfort and to dance, but I don't think I saw Kim dance or let loose not once. I agree with Carla, 3 dress changes clearly shows that you could care less about mingling and enjoying your guest... at that point it becomes a "show." The overall wedding planning was nice, at times a little much but hey, that's Kim! I had my doubts about the sincerity of their union, but after watching the ceremony, you could genuinely see the love they have for one another.

I agree and I doubted the sincerity of their union and felt different after the vows.  I loved the ring ceremony when he gave rings to their daughters.
  • I hated the first dress. The second was ok. I did teary when they said their vows; however, I thought giving rings was creepy. I understood he meaning, but I guess dealing with child abuse It was a little eerie to me.

  • I still need to go back and watch.  This show didn't really keep my interest like I thought it would.  I saw a few episodes here and there but I did see the one where she bought the dress and the jumpsuit.  IMO, the dress wouldn't have been my choice, but I can so see Kim going with something like that.  I think I'm just gonna skip ahead and watch the episode with the wedding.

she actually did do better, dress #1, she bought preowned from the same site I bought mine from and paid $24K for it.  the other two were custom.

I didn't have any trouble with her sending her mom home.  It wasn't about the bathroom, it was about Karen's pattern of disregard for Kim's authority.  In the episode before this one (I think) she left Kim a voicemail saying sorry, I'm going to be busy on your wedding day, won't be able to make it.  Before that, she intentionally skipped a fitting for which Kim had called the stylist to the house, to fit just the moms (hers and Kroy's) .   My long winded point is this woman's thing is to cut a straight narcissistic fool if she can't AW.   The final thing for me is, they do in fact get in the house to use the bathroom and the mom (who must've forgotten she was miked) is still wilding out.  She's an I'm gonna do what I want when I want and I dare you to stop me type.   Years of that?  yeah ma, I'll see you later.
