Sorry to bother you ladies again ok so I moved the date and things were cool so I start calling about room blocks and the hotels a 244 a night ?!!! Please.. So I ask about other weekends and its 89 the weekend after ... The reason its high is because of NASCAR .... Really NASCAR ... So with that being said should I change the date to the next weekend? The 23rd ... The only thing is its the week before thanksgiving .... Any advice is appreciated

    I would think that the weekend before Thanksgiving is fine for your local guests.  I am going to guess that your OOT guests will be a bit relunctant to attend particularly if they have plans to travel for the holiday.  However, I always say that if someone really wants to be at the wedding they will come.  Umm...Nascar's got it like that, huh?  LOL!

    Maybe you can look for another hotel for the guests probably not so near the area where they are having NASCAR

    @islang girll yes.. like i  knew people liked nascar BUT.. i didnt think they liked it like that in Miami..im thinking the same thing too i would feel horrible knowing people paid for an airline ticket and then had to pay 250 for a rinky dink hotel.. if you are going to pay that much at least stay on the beach.

    @misstira i have been looking for places further out i looked in kendall, doral, they are still high to be regular hotels and that drive might be too far being that everything is down south.

    I agree. See what other hotels you can book.. But don't change your date, bc you never know if that date will work for vendors, etc...

    Also ppl will find a cheap hotel.. trust me.. LOL.. Hope it works out. Keep us posted.
