Anyone Acne Prone?

Hey Ladies,

I've always had HORRIBLE skin and have tried everything. Even Proactiv. I just heard about the OCM? I'm scared to try it, but I've heard really good things about it. What do you girls think?

I have read about a lot of people who have used tihs method and it's been extremely successful.  For me, I always had very sensitive skin and would break out from different products.  Now that I use only shea butter and vitamin e oil to moisturize my face, my skin is sooooo much happier.  I say you should try it!

I have very oily and acne-prone skin.  I tried Proactiv for a while, and yeah, it kind of worked, but it was entirely too expensive for me. Right now I'm using Oil of Olay products and so far, it has minimized my pores.  But I've never heard of this new method.  It seems okay, I suppose.  Let me know if you try it...:)

I also have oily, acne-prone skin, but a few months ago I started using a combination of Proactiv (mainly the exfoliating cleanser) and Borghese Cream Cleanser, along with hair, skin & nail vitamins from GNC.  My skin hasn't been this clear since I was four years old!

EDIT:  I also do a Borghese mud mask once a week...

I have acne prone skin as well and I just recently heard about the oil cleansing method.  I've tried it a few times, but I get so paranoid about not getting enough of the oil off and making it worse.   My skin seems to be looking better, but I still have some breakouts (probably because aunt flo will be here soon lol.).

I've had acne for a long time, it's not that bad, but I just want it to go away.  My dermatologist prescribed me retin-a micro, which is good, but my skin is sensitive so it irritates my skin sometimes.  I also have another medicine that helps with discoloration that helps too, but nothing seems to get rid of it completely.  I recently started the oil cleansing method and also black soap is supposed to be good for acne prone skin too.  Like raganw, I also take hair skin and nail vitamins.

Yes, I forgot to mention that I take a multi-vitamin, Alpha Liopic Acid and Fish Oil pills every day and my skin looks more glowing and healthy because of it.
