Hi ladies,

I think it is time I came out of lurkdom....lol. My name is Lisa and my FI and I are planning to get married 10/1/11 in Vegas.  We were planning a big wedding at home here in CT but realized that it's going to cost us way more than we want to spend, so a destination wedding evolved. 

We have been together for 9 years and have a little boy who just turned one in June.

Welcome to the boards and congrats!!! I really would like to do the same thing (destination wedding) because of the expense as well, but FI is not having it. He wants the big wedding for his family, well our families. Congrats!!!
