Anyone out there ?? Im dying here. Im in a house full of men and the play station 3 is out. If they trash talk a little more, I predict the wii coming out next. This means more trash talk, drunken we bowling and sweaty grown men in wife beaters, in our living room.

    Girl, I know  these fools will be here a while. I made a mohito and a turkey burger. To mellow me out. I just dont feel like going to bed right now. The bad part is that I just wasnt expecting company. It was a one of those stop by, hey what are yall up to, kind of nights.

    I'm here for you girl...my FI just left my house headed to his guys night out. They do it every week. "Thirsty Thursdays"...basketball and beer. LOL...what's on your mind? I'm finally getting on the ball with planning like TODAY...lol. I am a year out tomorrow. Too excited, but a little nervous too.

    oohhh thirsty thurdays !!! I miss knowing those days, martini mondays, two dollar tuesdays, etc, etc....... lol
    Once you hit that year mark it will fly by. My invites have been sitting on our couch for 2 weeks. I wishing them to put themselves together. lol

    The ceremony and reception venues are on the top of the list with catering right after that. I am communicating with people about all three right now. Once I have set those in stone, I can focus a little more on everything else and know what I am facing financially. I am so impatient though...lol. Probably because I'm excited. I want to pick out invitations, flowers, etc.

    As for checks, I have found my dress, photographer, and makeup artist so that's less to worry about later. I had to do those quickly because those are some of the things on my Daddy's list.

    What major things do you have left?

    I was the same way in the beginning. I found our venue, photog and videoagrapher in like a month. lol. I couldnt wait ! I was so excited !

    I still have to put together and send out invites
    Order & put together programs
    order favors
    cake tasting
    find jewelry for bms
    figure out parents gift
    put together bathroom baskets
    and one more fitting

    I think thats it. But I feel like I'm missing something. Oh well ! lol

    What kind of jewelry are you thinking about for your BMs? I have been falling in love with some of the pieces on etsy.com. I think it is because I look at Jim Hjelm dresses so much and the models never have on typical wedding jewelry so I go on etsy looking for similar pieces. When are you mailing invites?

    The dead line for the invites for me is the first week in april. Fi has a lot of oot guest. So I want to give them time to make arrangements.

    I dont what Im looking for exactly. We already gotten them diamond heart necklaces, that my nana caught on sale in january of last year. It was a great find. But they are gold and I want them in silver. So that is their gift, along with their bp tank tops. But I want to find them a nice and cheap set for that day.
