I asked my locals but I have to ask my sistas too...

Im going to be taking pictures in dwtn Redlands on the 11th. Im excited and nervous! What should I wear? I have this cute high waisted black skirt w/ one of those jumbo belts, but idk what else to put with it. I kind of wanted to have two looks, a dressy look and a casual look. Advise please!

    The skirt sounds cute. You could always just do a tank top with that skirt and really assessorize. Like with a nice chain, earrings and a clunky bracelet. Or if you can find a ruffly sleeveless top, that would be nice also. For the casual look you could always find a cute sun dress in a spring time color and some fly shoes. Just brain storming hth. Whats fi wearing ?

    He wants to wear some jean shorts (the really long ones) and some fly kicks. He wants us to dress like twins, but in the downtown area? On the beach I could see...

    I am of no help because I am having the same dilemma. I am not trying to jack your spotlight on this post but lord knows I could use the input too. We are doing an urban theme this go-round and we will be in downtown Charlotte near where I work. There are a lot of very nice picturesque bldgs around and we will have a good time taking pics down here. I really could use some suggestions for this too.

    @Desi, I like ksturgis' suggestion.  Girl, I love I high wasted skirt!  I'm so out of the fashion loop.  I have been concentrating all of my energy on wedding stuff.  I try not to even look at my In Style and Vogue magazines because it just makes me sad that I can't afford to shop right now.  But I do need to start thinking about this because I plan to have an engagement session soon (it's kinda late, but oh well).  I'm going to have to check out some wedding blogs and check out what other couples are wearing and get back to you.

    @Michelle are you changing outfits?  I think that an urban chic look would look good for you.  I like Desi's idea of a high wasted skirt.  I also like a classic simple black dress like the one worn my Tyswife2b at her e-session.
