Invites Envy

So originally I didn't want to spend a lot of money on invites because I figured people throw them away....so I made something super simple...it includes the invite, accommodations card and RSVP card...but looking at everyone's invites is making me second guess mine. Everyone's is so super fabulous!! So can you guys give me your honest opinions...are my invites ugly Cry For 130 they cost me like 25 bucks to make, so I won't be losing much by doing new ones.... Should I do a do over??

TIA

Here is a pic of just the invite...honest opinions please!! My feelings won't be hurt

I really like yours!!!  If it bothers you and it would make you feel better than change them, but I wouldn't.  Mine are super simple and plain, I couldn't justify spending the money for fancy ones and didn't have the time to dedicate to DIY.  I have Invite Envy as well at times =)

omg...i was gonna post the same thing!!!...funny thing is, we are using the same paper (american crafts?)...just a different size (5x7)!!! I'm thinking of just adding a silver cardstock matte.

I definitely have invitation envy after receiving my fi co-worker invite a few days ago (pocketfold)...but like u said (and my fi keep saying)...people are eventually just gonna throw them in the trash...Undecided

I like them.   Can you share how in the world you did them for only $25?  I have not done mine yet and if I could get mine to look that nice for $25 I'm all for that.

I think it is very pretty and I made mine out of cardstock and my rsvp postcards out of  blank index cards and still people are calling me asking me where I made them.

Your invitations are nice. If I received one I would not think they only cost you 0.20 cents each. Girl that is a STEAL!!!

The average pocket fold if not DIY is $3 or $4 each x 130 = $520 not including postage.

If I were you I would keep what you have and spend the money somewhere else.

Your invites are pretty I like the swirls. I might use a thicker ribbon and that will jazz it up a bit. Seriously dont start over

The invites are very pretty. Don't second guess yours.  I ordered something from a catalogue that I like, but thought about personalizing them. Needless to say, that never happened.  I decided that I didn't want to invest time and extra money in paper.  Most people don't save invites so no need to have your money or time thrown away at some point.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions...I think I may add the backing but other than that i'll keep it...I'll probably invest the money somewhere else.
