Remembering random little acts of kindness I've had the opportunity to perform. The opportunity doesn't come up that often, but I love when it's something that for me is so simple but means so much to the person. Most of the time, I don't tell anyone because I don't do it for praise, but for an opportunity to show the world some love. If I do tell anyone, it's only FI because I want to share the joy I got from the act.

Mine is going to be mushy too. ;) A few weeks ago my FI and I went to a Seahawks game. I am a MAJOR football fan, however my FI could really care less about sports (backwards, I know). Well, it was a great game, and he was actually cheering and totally into it with me. On the drive home, out of no where he looked over at me, put his hand on mine and said "I had a great day with you today baby". Ohhh how my heart melted! Don't get me wrong we always have fun together, but there was something in his eyes when he said it...he really looked at me with total love. It was fantastic!

Funny you bring this up today – we were just at a group last night for newly married couples.  One of the exercises mentioned for building a strong foundation was this:  each of you write a list.  The top 10 things that made you feel loved and/or respected (there’s a theory that men would rather feel respected than loved).  As couples, we found that our lists were VERY different than we thought.  For me it’s little public touches, when he holds my hand, touches the small of my back, little gestures of possessiveness.  I adore that.

I love the way FI looks at me. He just has this look and his eyes are filled with love. He loves me sooo much. I am such a lucky girl.

I think this has turned into what does FI do to you that makes you feel so good. The way FI looks at me is amazing. I too think I'm so lucky because he's so in love with me.Recently, FI and I were at a friend's bbq. When we got home we were laying in bed and talking about our day. He told me that it is so cool when I'm with my friends and telling a story and I'm at the center of attention and everyone is laughing at my jokes because I'm so funny. He said he is so proud and lucky to have me. That made me feel really good.

On Tuesday I got home at 4 and had to leave again at 5 to drive for 2 hrs to where I'd be working out-of-town till Thurs.  I was madly packing, and saw FI put something in my bag, but didn' t know what it was.  When I unpacked at like 9 that night, I saw he'd packed a snack pack for me w/ sweets, munchies, and a couple drinks.  It made me feel great.

I'm trying to exclude the FI one :)Finishing 13.1 mile run during Rock'n'Roll Marathon this summer. Every bone in my body was soar and achy, but I remember seeing the FI waiting for me at the finish line with such a proud face... Now I feel good just putting on my running shoes twice a week and keep training for the one next summer!

I'm gonna go with Pixel's Mom and do something that I do (not FI) that makes me feel good. And that would be horseback riding. A good workout on a horse & I feel amazing. Even tiredness or soreness feels good, because I know what it came from. I love coming home dirty & smelling like barn. Seriously, it's better than therapy. Can you tell I haven't been riding in almost 2 months? I'm really missing it, but I'm crossing my fingers that I get a chance in the next week or so to ride.

I'm going with both!FI takes care of me all the time.  I called him when I got home from work (I left early) to let him know that not only did I feel like crap, but I had a fever so I would not be heading out to the corn maze with our friends tonight.  He immediately offered to skip the gym and come home early to make sure I was OK.  I told him he was being ridiculous and that I'd be fine, but it was super-sweet for him to offer.I'm training for a half-marathon in February.  I was running marathons regularly for a while, but stopped about a year ago when I pulled a tendon in my foot.  It's felt great to be running again and I am SO excited to be training for a big race.  I miss it so much.

I have two things: When the two of us are laying in bed after a great day together and he just smiles at me with so much love in his eyes and tells me what a lucky man he is to have me in his life...i just melt! :D And every morning when our little ones wake up, the smiles they get when they see momma.  I wouldnt trade that for the world :D
