Practical Advice - RSVPs

I always think about you ladies when something comes up that has either worked out great or not too well so I can share with you and hopefully make someone else's experience easier...

One thing I have learned is that you MUST number or label your RSVPs in some kind of way.  I cannot tell you how many RSVP postcards I have received where the party has forgotten to put their name on the card.  If I did not have a list with the name and corrosponding number, I would have NO IDEA who these people are.

Basically, I put a little number in the corner of each RSVP and I have a list of the numbers and who got that RSVP so when it came back with no name, I knew exactly who it was.  This has worked out very well.

Good idea! I was trying to figure out what I was going to do...

When I did my graduation dinner, we put a label on the back with their name so we knew who it was from but I knew that wouldnt be as classy when it came to the wedding invitations...

I bought a marker that has invisible ink and has a black light on the other side so the guests won't see the number in the invite.
