I think I will put the order of the boxes the opposite for option 1

It just seems like too much white...

Are you doing matte or glossy? If you go matte, #2 might not be so strikingly purple IRL

First let me say I love love love this idea.  It's been a long journey for us too and I wanted to do a STD that highlighted the journey.  So just be warned...I'm going to use your wonderful idea as a basis for my own!  Thanks so much

I like #1 because the date pops more being in the purple vs being in the white.
