Music Choices....

What type of music are you having during your cocktail hour?  Jazz, R&B, musicians, dj?  We're having a dj, so I guess he'll just play some contemportary jazz, but at the same time I want something a little more upbeat but not party music.

Here's my list for cocktail hour, I like the idea of contempoary jazz but not sure my family listens to lots of jazz...so I went with a more "neo soul" list

Our venue will play "Jazz Muzak" through their overhead speakers. It's in a hotel so you know how you hear that random music like...where is that coming from?

I'm actually scared silly about this.  he is a painintheassmusic snob, um, i mean connoisseur AND he doesn't dance (in public) but wants to be all up in MY songlist.  necro die with that shyt, you don't dance!  our deal is he picks the fogie music for cocktail and dinner hour, I pick our entrance song and the don't sit down for one minute music.  this should be interesting.

eta:  ro I really am stealing your playlist, everything except 21 and 22 because I can't listen to Kem without thinking he sounds just like a billygoat @ "last foreverrrrrrrr" then I can't stop giggling.
